From Salisbury College (A36 Southampton Road) roundabout, follow ring road up hill in direction of Amesbury/Warminster.

At next round about (London Road A30), stay on the A36 ring road (2nd left) in Westerly direction.

At next round about turn off at 3'O'clock onto the A345 Amesbury road.

Take 2nd turn on left (Stratford Road). Drive out of Salisbury through Stratford sub Castle and into the countryside. You will soon come to the River Avon Bridge at Little Durnford where the road bears sharply to the left.

Continue over the bridge and wind your way for three miles through the water meadows in open countryside until you come to the village of Lower Woodford.

We are directly opposite the car park entrance of the Wheatsheaf Inn in the middle of the village.

Take M3 Southbound from London. At junction 8a, turn left onto the A303. After 26 miles, you will arrive at a large roundabout near Amesbury. Turn left on the A345 towards Amesbury and continue out of town on the A345 Salisbury road.

After 4 miles you will arrive at the top of a long shallow hill with the High Post Inn on your right, followed by the High Post Garage and Traffic Lights.

Turn right at the Lights (immediately past the garage forecourt) and continue along that road, and down a hill to a 'T' junction. Turn right and continue over the River Avon bridge to the second 'T'. You are now in Upper Woodford facing the Bridge Inn pub.

Turn left and continue down the valley road, through Middle Woodford and on to Lower Woodford. In middle of village, you will see the Wheatsheaf Inn on your right. Meadow Barn is directly opposite the pub car park, in the courtyard of Manor Farm Cottage.
